Zenith building
Brussels
The Zenith building is located in Brussels, in the North Station neighbourhood, an area that gathers a variety of urban experiences and architectural environments such as the country’s financial centre and a modest residential area, with its graffiti spread out in the streets.
MEAG chose us to enhance the building with multiple services for tenants such as meetings and multipurpose rooms as well as a restaurant.
The city was our playground: an eclectic combination of raw materials, nature, street art, fragmented origami-like wall covering, reflecting the interior and exterior reality, the omnipresent concrete finish and reused materials.
The tree, placed at the heart of the project, articulates the relation with the outer space and symbolises a form of urban nature. Particular attention has been paid to the acoustics which have been embedded into the design process from the beginning and which are concealed within several decorative elements such as the cylindrical lights or the acoustic walls.
