The EU based insurance company ATHORA implemented their head office for Belgium in the inner city of Brussels with the intent of developing a broad range of life insurance solutions to individual and corporate customers.
Athora invited us to design the new entrance to the building, marking the start of an exciting collaboration.
This took place at the start of the COVID 19 crisis and maintaining the timeline has been a significant but successful challenge.
Project wise the entrance to the building should immediately reflect the identity of the group without, however, appearing too formal. We therefore decided to take an organic approach and work with natural materials.
The main inspiration was the tree of lifea theme which appeared to us to be particularly linked to Athora’s activities.
